There are three different study tracks in learning the Finnish language in Entry Education. The first group is a beginners group starting from the very basics, the second group aims to improve skills needed in everyday working life, and the third group provides language counselling for those immigrants who have already accepted an internship position. The participants are divided into different groups based on their skill level and each group has its own curricula. The teachers regularly keep track and make sure that each participant is in the correct group. Each participant also has his or her own personal work-life coach who keeps an eye on the progress and readiness to accept work.
At Entry, the participants are welcomed by Sarkawt Ahmed Rstem and Abdikeisar Botan. They find out the work interests of the client, present work opportunities and suggest the right skill-based group to study Finnish. After a suitable job opportunity has been established, Bilel Sehli assists the participant in the job interview and acquiring the necessary certificates. He also works as a contact person for the clients and assists them in issues such as contacting the Finnish authorities even after they have been employed. “The best thing in our job is when we receive an enthusiastic client and are quickly able to find him or her a suitable position to witness the client succeed and prosper in life.”
