“I found the position through Entry Education. Before accepting the position, I studied Finnish for two months”, Mostafa explains. He received a job offer for the position of a service station manager at Shell. “Everything went well in the job interview. Afterwards I started an internship period for three weeks. During this period, I got a lot of support from my employer and colleagues.” During the internship, Mostafa learnt customer service skills and also his language skills improved while using Finnish daily.
“The best thing about this job is my supervisor as well as my colleagues, they are always ready to assist and advice. The work is interesting, and I meet different people and clients every day. I encourage immigrants without work experience in Finland to take up an internship and give it a try. If everything goes well, you have a chance to be employed permanently”, Mostafa elaborates.
